Gli F-15 di RAF Lakenheath

Continuiamo qui a parlare della base di Lakenheath,ma stavolta la vediamo operativa con il velivolo che sostituì l' F-111F, ovvero l'F-15 Eagle nella versione C da superiorità aerea e nella versione E da attacco. Nel Febbraio del 1992 arrivò a Lakenheath il primo Strike Eagle e per il Dicembre dello stesso anno,gli ultimi due F-111F lasciano l'Inghilterra per gli Stati Uniti.Dal 1992 inizia quindi e tutt'ora continua,la saga dell'Eagle nell'East Anglia.
