Il vecchietto della Boeing

Come in tutti i campi dell'ingegno umano,ci son realizzazioni che col trascorrere del tempo son divenute icone del loro tempo ed è indubbio che in campo militare,più specificatamente aviatorio,il B-52 sia un'icona riconosciuta a livello mondiale assurgendo a simbolo del potere militare degli USA. Frutto di una specifica emanata nei tardi anni 40' volta a sostituire i B-36 e B-50,il velivolo entrò in produzione nei primi anni '50 e il primo venne consegnato all'USAF nel 1955.Ne vennero costruiti
